This is our last religious instruction sessions. Even though we haven’t been in class together, we have been united by praying for each other.

Read it slowly. after the Psalm you may want to finish with a spontaneous prayer asking God to bless and guide you and your family and friends in the coming week.

Reflect on these questions after watching:

1) What are the kinds of people that you follow on Instagram or YouTube who help you to become a better person? Are they really helping you to become better?
 

2) What are the things that you see and know are not good things to watch or follow on those social media platforms? Do you have the will power and the strength to not watch those things anymore? If not, ask Jesus to help you overcome those things that are making you a slave to the culture. 

 

God has a great vision for all of you and He wants you to be with Him in Heaven. But remember, you have to do your part! You must follow what God says is right and true, not what the culture or the world says who you have to be or what you have to do to be cool. It's only in prayer that you can know what God wants from you. 

 

Assignment: This week, spend 5 minutes alone with God each night. Start your prayer by being aware that He is present with you at that moment. Tell Him about your day. 

 

I hope you are all doing well and spending more time with your families now. I really miss you all and am keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Reflection Questions after watching video
1) Describe what the best version of yourself would be like.
2) What are the virtues that I see in myself and how can I grow in those virtues? What virtue can I work on more in my life?
3) Do I see a need to be set free from anything in my life? What is something in my life that is keeping me from living in freedom for Jesus?
