Dear Confirmation Class,
As religious education classes end this week, I’d like to take a look back at our time together.
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” – Matthew: 18: 20
This doesn’t mean that Jesus isn’t always with us when we are alone or otherwise. But I like to think it means that when a particular group of people are gathered together in his name (like our religion class) there is a reason why we were chosen to be together for a time. There are no mistakes with Jesus. When we start our year, I know we’ll all be sharing something special together and Jesus will hear our prayers.
Now let’s take a look forward. You have an important job ahead. CONTINUE YOUR FAITH JOURNEY!
Grow in faith and continue to Know, Love and Serve God always!
In the gospel reading this past Sunday Jesus said to his disciples: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it neither sees nor knows him. But you know him, because he remains with you, and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me, because I live and you will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father and you are in me and I in you.
Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.” John 14: 15-21
Jesus is telling us that something is coming, an Advocate. And we have learned this is the Holy Spirit. Pay close attention to the readings leading to Pentecost Sunday on May 31st. You will see the roots of your Confirmation and our Church.
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit will guide you on your continued faith journey. The seeds have been planted. Your faith life is all up to you. You are the future of the Church!
I enjoyed getting to know each one of you. I thank you for being such a respectful group. I appreciate your participation in class (a sharing of faith with one another). I hope you learned something from me, as I always learn something from you.
In times of doubt, take time to look and see the beauty & vastness of God’s Creation! God is Awesome! He is always with you! Find comfort & joy in your love for Jesus.
I wish you & your family health, happiness and peace always. Have a great summer! I look forward to your Confirmation Day!
All the best, Mrs. Magee
Dear Parents and Young People,
I miss you so much. I pray that you are safe and being good stewards of your faith and society listeners for your parents and families. Yesterday was the feast of Our Lady of Fatima when she first appeared to three children, Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia in the small village Fatima, Portugal.
Mary came from heaven to ask all of us to pray and sacrifice and that we continue to offer to Jesus our sins because he was offended by them.
Your actions:
Be JOYFUL!
God bless you!
Ms Irma

Dear Confirmation Students,
Hello from Mrs. Magee! It’s been a long time since we’ve been together. I’ve missed our class time and seeing you all each week. I hope that you & your families have stayed well during this difficult time.
I know you are receiving weekly lessons and I hope this is going good for you. I was able to put together lessons before I became sick with the Covid 19 Virus. Thereafter, Ms. Irma has been so wonderful to take care of this for our group. I’m very grateful to her. We should pray for Ms. Irma and all who help to keep things going for our class.
On March 31st I became sick along with my husband. On that same day our internet service went out. They couldn’t send a repair person until we were completely well. I’m happy to say our internet is fixed. Now I can communicate with you if you need anything, or if you just want to say hello!
During April, and especially during Easter, I was thinking of you & your families and praying for all of you. Last week I thought about Confirmation and all the hard work you have done to prepare for this. While I don’t know when this will take place, I look forward to your receiving the Holy Spirit in this beautiful Sacrament.
I would love to hear about how you are doing. Stay in touch! Let’s continue to pray for the intentions that Ms. Irma sends us and for all who need our prayers.
Know that I’m praying for you and your families each day. Stay well and be safe.
God Bless,
Mrs. Magee
